Good news VS Bad news
So, which ones would you like me to go first?
The bad ones: I’m gonna need to lay low on my squats activity #RIP50KgGoal
Apparently I’m too flexible and because my hip muscules aren’t strong enough, the fact that I go too low makes them “irritated”. The trainer at the gym said he experienced the same thing and advised me some exercises to do in order to make the muscules a bit stronger. I might also change a bit my technique in the squats later on but for now I need some time off on the squats because of the pain.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m still hitting the gym and my motivation is through the roof!
The good news is, I finally broke the scale! Yasssss \m/ Weigh myself today and got 76.7 Kg! I’m so so so so happy! I honestly feel like I deserved it. I’ve been eating healthy for a month now, and counting my calories since a week or so, working hard at the gym… I’m really proud!
I also feel that my stomach area is less round and narrower, and the back much leaner than before. Curious fact is that when I lifted 50Kg in my Deadlift was the first time I felt my abs muscles working.
I’m trying for the first time today this “intermittent fasting” thing. I was able to fast for 14h but to be honest, I’m not completely sure I can do this. I mean, it was “easy” because it’s the weekend, so I slept & lounged on my computer all day BUT I have a headache, which might have to do with the fact that I got my period but still… I’m on a 1500-1600 Kcal plan a day but I’m hungry and all I can think about is food.
I’m still playing around with my diet and limitations, but it’s working so far.
I found out that pasta, even simply boiled with no sauce or oil, is extremely caloric, and the same with whole wheat noodles (omg!). So I guess brown rice will be my best friend for a while. I need some more research on good sources of carbs that aren’t that “dense”.
I also need to cut a bit on my daily carb intake, because according to MyFitness Pal, I’m always overboard when it comes to these.
It’s almost 8p.m. I’m going to cook some tuna and then prepare dinner for us. Then the fasting will go to at least 8:30h a.m. tomorrow morning.
